Corey Roblee |
His goal as ICC regional manager is to continue the outstanding relationship between the two common agencies. "ICC will continue to work with CAAK to provide the best service, training, certification and communication in the industry," said Corey. "ICC shares the same mission as CAAK and therefore we will (and I expect to) work together to continue improving the industry, our ICC/CAAK relationships and nurture success for the future." Roblee received his CAAK initiation at Kentucky Dam Village in April. "CAAK is integral to the success of building and fire safety officials throughout the state and I will intend on working (tirelessly) with the CAAK BOD to ensure that we work together effectively and efficiently," Roblee said. "The CAAK BOD is composed of many outstanding individuals and I am quite fortunate to have them as part of the CAAK/ICC leadership team." Roblee joined ICC in March of 2008 after John Payne's retirement. "In a sense, I am very green," he said. Single and the oldest of three brothers, Corey enjoys sports, music, boating, fishing, golfing, cigars and fine wines. Though he enjoyed his fellowship at the conference with the blue and white and red and black clad UK and U of L CAAK fans, Corey is loyal to his Buckeyes. "I bleed scarlet and gray," Corey says, "so I live and die by my Ohio State Buckeyes. OH-IO! " Contact Corey by email. |

JOB OPENING |
Corey Roblee may consider himself "green" as an ICC employee, but his resume is stacked with credentials. The Columbus native and new ICC regional manager holds a BA in political science from Ohio State University, worked as a senior legislative aide on the Ohio House of Representatives, and served as campaign director of numerous local, state and nationwide political and ballot issue campaigns. If that isn't enough, Roblee, prior to joining ICC, was vice president of public affairs and campaign management at a national consulting firm, and an independent government relations consultant. |
