2010 ICC Attendance Assistance Grants
This year, the CAAK Board has decided to
offer some additional grants for our members to participate in
the Fall ICC Code Conference in North Carolina. There are a
number of Certificates remaining from our ICC Chapter Rewards
program. The Certificates will be offered to our membership in
the following manner until they are exhausted: First, to
Officers of the Board who plan on attending the Code hearings;
Second, to other Board members who plan to attend but are not
Officers on the Board; and Third to active members who are
members of the ICC and by virtue of the ICC Membership, voting
representatives for their respective jurisdictions.
The next grant opportunity is a financial
grant of up to $200.00 for up to ten CAAK members who also are
ICC members capable of voting on behalf of their respective
jurisdictions. Expenses of up to $200.00 will be reimbursed for
the ten members selected for hotel accommodations or meals*
while attending the ICC Conference. *Not to include the purchase
of alcoholic beverages.
There will be instructions provided soon on
how to apply for these two additional opportunities for our
members to attend and be part of the code development process.
Your CAAK Board knows everyone has experienced hardships with
budget cuts and short falls as the economy begins the recovery
process.
